Our story began in Tallahassee in 2019 when we met while working together at BJ's Brewhouse. Alex worked in the kitchen, and Luisa worked front of house. Although we knew each other through work, we didn't become close until the end of the summer of 2020.

Luisa made the first move and got Alex's number from the scheduling app we used at work. Alex suggested a trip to the beach for our first date, and what started as a simple day by the water quickly turned into a friendship that felt effortless from the beginning. Not long after, we went on a lunch date at a sushi restaurant, shared our first kiss, and realized there was something special between us.

Over the next five years, we built a life together filled with laughter, adventure, and plenty of change. In 2021, we moved from Tallahassee to Orlando, started new careers outside of the restaurant industry, and continued growing alongside one another through every new chapter.

One of the things we love most about our relationship is that we genuinely enjoy doing everything together. Whether we're trying a new restaurant, cooking at home, baking something sweet, spending time at the beach, or traveling somewhere new, we're happiest when we're sharing the experience. Some of our favorite adventures have taken us to places like Germany, Alaska, and Mexico.

At the end of 2024, we purchased our first home together, and in the summer of 2025, we moved in. A few months later, on December 5, 2025, Alex proposed after a special dinner together. Luisa said yes, and now we're excited to begin our next chapter as husband and wife.
